Claymore... Đó là cái tên mà người ta dành để gọi một số phụ nữ đặc
biệt có sức mạnh chống lại các loại quái vật. Không có một người đàn ông
nào có sức mạnh của Claymore và ngay cả với phụ nữ thì cơ hội trở thành
Claymore là vô cùng hiếm hoi.
Có thể nói rằng Claymore là một sự kết hợp hoàn hảo của quái vật và con
người. Với cơ thể mang sức mạnh của quái vật, bộ óc thông minh của loài
người, đôi mắt đặc biệt có khả năng phát hiện mọi loại quái vật giả dạng
và thanh kiếm lớn (Claymore là một loại kiếm lớn, cầm bằng hai tay),
các Claymore là những chiến binh vô cùng mạnh mẽ.
Các Claymore cũng bị người thường căm ghét và ghen tức với sức mạnh kì
lạ của họ. Ngay cả khi Claymore chiến đấu để bảo vệ loài người thì họ
cũng vẫn bị căm ghét và khinh bỉ bởi chính những kẻ họ luôn bảo vệ. Tuy
vậy, các Claymore hầu như không quan tâm. Nhiệm vụ duy nhất và cũng là
lý do duy nhất để họ tồn tại là chiến đấu với các loại quái vật.
Câu chuyện của Claymore kể lại cuộc phiêu lưu của đôi bại Clare và Raki.
Clare là một Claymore còn Raki là người thường. Lần đầu tiên nhìn thấy
một Claymore với sức mạnh khủng khiếp, Raki thực sự khiếp sợ, nhưng sau
đó, cậu ta đi theo Clare với nhiệm vụ... đầu bếp.
Claymore, những con người đã từ bỏ cuộc sống loài người để trở thành
quái vật như người ta thường nghĩ vẫn có những tình cảm của con người.
Đó là điều mà Raki thấy và cậu quyết tâm đi cùng Clare...và còn nhiều cái nữa............

Trong khi đang soi trộm váy của nữ sinh, Onizuka gặp một cô học trò và cả hai quyết định một cuộc hẹn. Tuy nhiên Onizuka đã thất bại ở cuối buổi hẹn khi mà "bạn trai" của nữ sinh đó tới, một thầy giáo, và kéo cô trở lại bên mình. Người thầy giáo đó là một ông già và ko hề có sức hấp dẫn, nhưng cô nữ sinh kia đã lao ra ngoài cửa sổ và ngã vào lòng thầy của mình. Onizuka, sau khi nhìn thấy sức hút của một nhà giáo đối với cô gái trẻ đã tự ý quyết định cho cuộc đời mình và nhận ra 3 điều quan trọng mà trước đây anh chưa nhận ra:
1. Anh là một ng có luơng tâm và ý thức đạo đức. Điều đó đồng nghĩa với các nữ sinh rất dễ cảm phục... nhưng những bậc nữ phụ huynh đầy sức hút lại là vấn đề khác
2. Anh hợp với việc dạy học.
3. Anh ghét hệ thống giáo dục cổ lỗ sĩ, đặc biệt khi đang phát triển thao chiều hướng ngu dốt và hạ thấp xuống.
Vì những lý do đó, Onizuka quyết định một giáo viên vĩ đại nhất từ trước tới nay trên đất nước Nhật Bản, bằng sử dụng bộ óc thông minh lý tưởng của mình và khả năng làm bất cứ việc jì. Nhưng oái ăm thay, thầy giáo Onizuka lại được phân vào một lớp học với thành tích trong 1 tháng thay 3 lần giáo viên chỉ bởi những trò đùa quái ác mà lũ học trò tinh quái này gây ra. Và thầy giáo vĩ đại Onizuka xuất hiện, thay đổi cả bộ mặt cho trường và cho lớp 7-4 này ^^! Từng bước thầy giải tỏa được những bức xúc của mỗi học trò bởi lòng nhiệt tình và am hiểu suy nghĩ của những học sinh thời nay.
Và chính nhờ lòng nhiệt tình, ko ngại khó khăn, từng bước Onizuka sensei đã cải hóa được suy nghĩ theo chiều hướng xấu của học sinh, giúp cho những "tương lai" của đất nước có những suy nghĩ đúng đắn hơn về bản thân, về gia đình và về xã hội.
